    "Live S3X" Popup problem

Recently my sister was using my wife's account on our XP machine to check her email, and we believe she got some sort of virus that is causing all users to be bombarded by porn related popups. I have tried deleting all known related files and have run both ad-aware and spybot. Running systemworks 2k3, which is kept up-to-date, and nothing at all has detected a problem. This is really just an annoyance, as it happens only once every hour or so of websurfing, but I would like to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

BTW, I couldn't find anything in the security advisories on the Symantec site, and a search for it on Google just turns up more P()rn......

You've probably done this but.... you said system works is up to date but what about adaware and spybot? Also is it a grey window or is it the full color crap? If it's the grey it could be comming in through windows messenger.... Not sure how to shut that off but just read an article about companies using it to bombard people with grey windowed ads....

Yeah, I turned off the Messenger service a long time ago.....I don't think it's that. These are full color popups - pictures and all followed by a "required" download.....
