To be honest, In fifteen years I've never used any of the utilities that help you identify chipsets--I haven't needed to. I think this is a case where one is needed but I will have to defer to you to tell him what to use and where/how to use it.

Scott, is there a brand-name on the computer? Or some other external markings that could help us with identifying it? Where the monitor plugs into the computer, does the socket look like it's part of the Motherboard (yes, its the largest board where the celeron is plugged in) or does it plug into a card that is plugged into the motherboard?
