Filemaker Pro 5.5 problem
Error Message:I get the following error message when I press a button in my school report card programme. There are buttons at the top and when I press Homeroom this happens. I have tried deleting everything I can for filemaker, edited the registry to get out entries. I cannot find anyone who knows why. The programme crashes and I cannot get in to change homerooms. This is driving me crazy..The other day it meant a 2 1/2 hour round trip to correct a problem on my day off. I did find a key ad trojan when editing the registry. And yes, I do have the latest update from Norton. Anyone got any ideas?
FILEMAKER PRO caused an exception 10H in module FILEMAKER PRO.EXE at 018f:0058850a.

Sounds like you have printer driver issues.
What version of windows are you running?
sounds like you need to think about uninstalling or switching your printer, as detailed here here here

I am running windows 98SE with an officejet R65. I have a p4 with 512 RAM. I don't have problems with anything else just this.

Did you do any of the suggested troubleshooting? Filemaker has issues with printers... its a filemaker pro problem not a windows problem. The fixes it shows are because they, for some reason have not hooked into the printer drivers correctly.

I tried emptying the temp file and was left with two directories and three files. The files were as follows: DFCB9.TMP DFCC7D.TMP and ZLTO4957.TMP I also tried installing a deskjet 690 and that didn't work. I really don't know what driver is down from my printer officejet R65 ... Beyond that I just don't know. What I do know is that I hate filemaker.....
