Hosting an Intranet
We currently have a program that can update a web page from data that is stored locally on a computer and also we have a show coming up. I need to be able to setup a couple of computers so that when I go to www.webmanager.com it will display a web page that is stored on one of the computers.

Have you registered the domain www.webmanager.com?

If not, then you will be using something like testingintranet.yourdomain.com

How about editing the hosts file on all the computers that will be connecting to the pc with contents of www.webmanager.com on it. assuming it a small peer-to-peer network.

Sorry I don't think I've explained myself clearly, at the show there will be no Internet connection instead I want to be able to host a mockup web site on one of the computers so that on any of the workstations if I go into www.bbswebmanger.com I will display a website thats data is stored on the main computer!
I hope this makes a bit more sense?!?!?

Host file is the way to go. Just edit your host files on each machine so the domain you need points to the ip you need.
