    Post TNT2 Ulta TV Output

    Guys (and girls)

I got a Creative NVidia TNT 2 Ultra AGP card, with 32mb ram.... it's got normal video out for the monitor, and also a kinda ps2 port out.... I got the little cable that comes out of that, and has a female *audio* socket on the other end....

Where does this connect to on a normal TV, and do I need to change any settings.. I've tried it into the normal RF socket, (no joy) and also the Video in port on the front of the tv....
The answer is out there.... I just need it here too!

    kind regards

    Schui

I think you are referring to an s-video port - get the lead at your local hifi/video shop

    have fun

I gather you have the TV on and the channel on the Composite Input channel befoe you are switching the PC on?

Darren.. I didn't know that the TV had to be on before the pc was...

also, the output on the vid card is similar to the SVideo, but with more pins... The adapter cable that came with the card converts this "ps2 type connector" to a standard phono cable...
I've but this into the AV port on the front of the TV with no luck.... I'll have to keep trying...

there's no downloadable manual on the Creative Site... so if anyone out there has done a similar thing, i'd be gratefull to know how it's done/!!!!

    Yes Schui.

The TV has to be on before the PC is as the card looks for the signal upon bootup.

    Thanks guys

got it working in the end.. There's a setting in Display, Settings, Advanced, NVIdia options, Output device... All works a dream.. Project IGI on a 32" tv looks LURVELY, and I was watching Vertical Limit last night (downloaded avi file). Looked very good...
