XP Pro/Home & Autologon...
I want to have autologon with Pro/Home and so far I have been using Tweak UI to do so. However it only remembers on first re-boot then resets to the logon screen on the next re-boot. How can I go about making this permanent? TIA...

You can use from the run command
control userpasswords2
Be aware when you set it to autologon the administrators account is listed by default. Change it to your user and enter the password if one is set.

Bingo. By change to your user he means clik on it before you uncheck the require password box (it will then ask you for the password)

I think this is what I was looking for! Thanks! I tried the registry hack as well as Tweak UI and that only worked on the first re-boot. After that it was back to the logon screen. The computers in my home are only used by me and the better half so I don't worry about access... However on my notebook I do use a password in case it ends up getting stolen (knocking on wood.)
Thanks!
