    connection timing out

    how can i stop the connection from timing out between isp(aol) and modem?
    modem is intel 536ep.it only happens on the first two #'s.

    yes their the access numbers.also tried deleting the first two numbers;but it still did the time out

    tried swappin the modem but had the same thing happen.will try another slot.
