    Thanks for the replies peoples, I'm going with something in the LaserJet 2200 series, which exact model depends on how much money my higher-ups feel like spending.

    HP Colour LaserJet 2500 . Postscript & DOS print capabilities but with colour function under Windows. Cheap at twice the price for the speed & quality.
