scandisk
what is the deal with the scandisk in win xp ???
it seems as it does nothing at all....(FAT 32)
on win me the scandisk scans the fat, files, directories etc. and sometimes finds errors in files and folders and offers to fix them.
in win xp i was never prompt by scandisk that there is a problem.!!!
what gives ??? if it were a ntfs would it matter ??...
this is one of the reasons i dual boot win me so i could do a proper scandisk from the win me system to the xp hard drive .(norton disk doctor)
thanks !!
