Help me find AMD CPU Thermal Specs

    Hi,
I have crowled the web and could not find a Page that specifies Athlon CPU's temprature (High's and lows).
If anyone can submit a page or a table I will be gr8full.

    Thank you all,

From what I recall, Athlon CPUs run anywhere from 0 to 90C, with operational failure occuring anywhere after 70C (PDF: http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/cont...docs/27375.pdf).

Not sure if this is valid, but this site: http://www.computing.net/cpus/wwwboard/forum/8436.html has a rundown on calculating "normal" temps.

    Thank you,
So I overclocked my AMD Athlon 1.3Ghz to 1.414Ghz.
Its highest temprature was 44c (~110f) so I guess it is OK.
Its the first time I do it - it seems to run better and still Stable (I ran Stress test for about 2 hours and it seems quite OK).

    Again - Thank you,
    Gabriel

Increasing fsb & multiplier don't on their own generally create enough extra heat to worry about as long as the original system was sufficiently cooled in the first place, so less than 55c, what increases heat significantly is upping vcore voltage to compensate for instability, this increases the heat output greatly

40-44C is the normal temp at which my XP 2100+ normally runs, so I'd say you were more than adequate in your cooling.
