Respect for Brett Favre
Favre Hits High After Dad's Death
I am saying this as a Vikings fan, but I have to respect what Brett Favre did last night. I know that it is just a game, and I would not use words as courageous to classify it, but to go out and play in front of millions of people and throw for 399 yards is tough enough. But to do it when your head is definately somewhere else, is an accomplishment that deserves respect. To lose a father, especially during the holidays, is tough enough. To have everyone asking you about it must make it even harder. I will have their family in my prayers, as I will with all families that have lost loved ones this year. May everyone have a happy and safe holiday season!

I second that.
He is great. You know his dad never missed a game.

Just an awesome performance last night. I can't imagine the emotions he went through before, during and after the game. The support he got last night from his own team, the Raiders and even Raider fan was amazing.

Bet he wasn't there last night.
But at least he gets to sit in Vince Lombardi's luxury box for eternity now.

He's as tough as they come! A game that will be remembered for a long time I think...
