Thanks for the effort Noo Noo! Unfortunately the zip file is simply a compressed version of the manual! Somebody selling this mnitor on ebay claims the driver is to be found at driverguide.com .I can't find it however. The search continues....

here is the driver for the graphic chip If you check the manual you will find you need Chips and Tech 65550 driver.
It also makes mention of sm.com and ct.com - have you got those? They are apparently on a separate utilities disk.

Thank you NooNoo! oh anonymous doer of helpful deeds you! I downloaded the driver for the chip and have left it at that for now. It's working fine. sm.com and ct.com are I believe only needed if one wishes to connect a crt to the card (there are two output connectors from it) I have however downloaded the 'fullset' for possible further use. There are an awful lot of files contained within, will try and work it out at some point in the future. Thanks again, Phil.

I am another sad case who has bought a monitor via e-bay. Have downloaded files you suggest and system seems to have accepted them but screen blank other than power light.
Is this because it is a second monitor & if so how do I set it up as i cannot remove main monitor as i will then be unable to see what is happening.
ANY help would be apopreciated!!

Dual monitor setup is done in the properties for the desktop... right click desktop, properties, last tab. You should see a pic with two monitors, one shown smaller (behind) the other. You should be able to configure from there.

Thanks for that NooNoo - didn't actualy solve the problem but am now working having taken out main graphics card from machine. Appears that Windows XP will not work with a non-tested card on the second monitor!! (Am still contacting Microsoft in the hope of improving this situation)
