Quake 3
Hi all. I was wondering if there was a console command or any other solution for quake 3 to pre cache the levels. My problem is that my server host games for the kids to play, (heh heh heh. No chores no games) and it works well, but quake 3 sometimes glitches for a sec on the playing computers. The game plays fine, but then at certain point it freezes for a spit second, and then resumes. It is playable but annoying. Any suggestions would help. Thanx

You might want to check if any of the clients are trying to download from the server. You can fis this by turning off auto-downloading in the game's system settings.
Personally, I always liked to use a server configurator, but command line/batch files can be used also.
Q3 console commands can be found here: http://www.planetquake.com/q3console/
