    Question 2003 CAL Licensing

I am having some difficulty setting up licensing for a couple of 2003 servers, DC’s in the same domain. It seems to go just like windows 2000, so anyone with some advice, please feel free.

I don't understand how adding CALs for one DC, don't get replicated to another DC. As well, connected users to either DC only show up on the DC that was connected to. I am at a loss here. I have read through several MSKB articles already, but I think I need a good crash course as to what is supposed to be done.

Since no one wants to touch this one, I'll ask a different question, do I even need to have the licensing service turned on both DC's? or will one suffice? I have both set to Per seat, and not Per server mode...

Where I noticed the problem, when I have someone from a different domain access shares from the server that does not have licensing setup, the client tab doesn't show their access on the other server. This happens regardless of whether I have the licensing service running on both servers or just the one. And any licenses added on one, don't show up on the other when I do have the service running on both.

    Man, I am confused!
