    Arrow !@#$%^ Error with Yamaha CDRW2200E !@#$%^

Since yesterday my cdrw has been causing me problems, its detecting my cdrw and cdrom, but it gives me this driver error. The only thing I changed recently was I installed Ahead Nero 6 ultra, and since then ive had this....

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

try this Fendi its not only easy cd that causes the problem. Interesting that nero did this, did you update or was it a new install of nero?

If you are using 2000 and not xp, then there is a link to the 2000 version of the article near the top.

The original release of Nero 6 Ultra worked great for me, but when I downloaded the recent updates, I had lots of trouble on my XP Pro machines. Uninstalled all of Nero 6, rebooted computer, disabled AV software, reinstalled the updates, but continued to have trouble with InCD, and ended up by removing it. With XP, I rarely used it anyway. Mostly, though, the uninstall/reinstall with AV off fixed most of my problems.

Well a happy new year to you too ... since I'm now using work time to answer this or is that ? ... I dunno I'm confus-ed !

Anyway try to disable "IMAPI CD-Burning ROM Service" sometimes software installs will change this to enabled. It causes havoc with some burning software.

    start run type in services.msc
find the service and stop it, then go into properties and disable the service. Reboot
