Thanks for your help, y'all. I think I'm gonna try one of those Hawking antennas, but if that doesn't work I'll try a wap11 as a repeater.

I'd love to just run cable (if it was my house I would) but I'm sure she doesn't want cable lying on the floor throughout the hallways.

Those antennas are pretty cool! 50 mile range would be nice.
