    Thanks for your help, y'all. I think I'm gonna try one of those Hawking antennas, but if that doesn't work I'll try a wap11 as a repeater.

    I'd love to just run cable (if it was my house I would) but I'm sure she doesn't want cable lying on the floor throughout the hallways.

    Those antennas are pretty cool! 50 mile range would be nice.

    Just make sure you stay withing fcc regs (specially since your using g). I'm not all up on that stuff but you could run over to the netstumbler forums and ask there. Those guys know their stuff. Cheers.
