Compaq Evo N1020v USB Driver ?
Does anyone know where i can find usb drivers for a Compaq Evo 1020v ?

Go here for software & drivers for Evo N1020v, All Models. Select your version of Windows. There are also BIOS and firmware updates available also.

If you're having USB problems, you might want to read up on Evo N1015v, Evo N1020v And Presario 1500xx Electrical Changes Cause USB Devices To Function With External Power Only. Basically, it says that your specific model might not be supplying adequate current to handle your USB devices. Your model only puts on 0.5 amps while others typically supply 1.5 amps.
USB specifications requires at least 0.5 Amps per port; some USB ports provide 1.5 Amps. Some devices attached to the 1.5 Amp ports will work fine, but the same device attached to a 0.5 Amp port will not UNLESS external power is provided for the USB device.
This is NOT a 'defect', the ports meet or exceed the USB specifications in all cases.
