MY FIRST POST HERE WAS SIMILAR,, STB BOUGHT UP A SMAL COMPANY , 3DFX BOUGHT UP STB, COPERATE CHEEPSKATES AT NVIDIA BOUGHT UP 3DFX, ONLY FOR THIER TECHNOLOGY, AND SCA REWED US END USERZ, WIAT FOR THIS PETITION TO GROW AND SEND IT IN TO NVIDIA ,IT WOULDNT BE NICE IF EVERY 3DFX OWNER EMAILED NVIDIA, WITH A LINK TO THIS,,, NAW THAT WOULD BE LIKE BADD ER SOMETHING,,, THANXZ I LIKE YOURE STYLE, THINK THIS MIGHT JUST MAKE A DIFFERENCE, TOO BAD NVIDIA IS KILLIN THE END USER BY NOT RELEASEING THE CODE REQUIRED TO MAKE THE DRIVERS, BY A 3RD PARTY, SO THEY ARENT HELPING ANNY ONE BUT THEMSELVES THEYA ARE TOO CHEEP TO GIVE SUPORT TO END USERZ....WHAATZ UP?

Nvidia has nothing to gain financially by releasing the driver source code. In fact it would probably end up costing them money because they wouldn't support those drivers, which would make them look bad in the public eye, plus there would be no incentive for anybody to buy new video cards (from Nvidia, of course, who is one of the main players in the vid card market.)
