If you have already followed the instructions from the previous repondent's suggestion and it did not work, borrow a friend's computer monitor and hook it up your computer. If the problem is still there, you will know it is not your monitor. If the problem disappears, you likely have a bad monitor. If the display is alright with another monitor you will have to get the driver for your display adapter.
