Smile Help!! Drivers needed for K56H Keycorp LCD Monitor

Hi! Can anyone help me with drivers for a LCD monitor tagged with Keycorp badge model number K56H that has its own ISA SVGA adapter.Searched everywhere for this driver and keep coming up empty handed.

Are there any identifying numbers or writing on the adapter?

Thanks for replying. The card uses a Chips & Technology chipset F65540 with K56 SVGA Ver 2.00 bios. I have been able to locate drivers for all other keycorp models except the K56 range. It's like they never existed.

Chips & Technologies sold out to Intel, who sold out to Asiliant. Asiliant's driver page is here: http://www.asiliant.com/driver.htm, but they don't list anything for the 65540. Intel lists win 95, win 3.1 and nt4 drivers http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...s&submit=Go%21 The newer OS's may not support the chip.

Found that information out already on my search for the drivers and tried the drivers on the intel site for win95 on an older machine running win95 and they don't work. Infact when the card was installed in this machine win95 recognises the card as a CHIPS & TECH ACCELERATOR and proceeds to install the driver from the OS CD but when restarted the OS comes back with error saying your display adaptor is not configured properly.?? Strange!! The later models such as the K57 range use a PCI card and drivers are available for these. Another option would be to obtain this particular card, but then would it run the the K56H LCD monitor??? A manual or something would be great if there is one available somewhere. Thank you for your help it's much appreciated, anything else you could find or any ideas would be great.

    Thanks

Yes, but that was for a k57h and mine is a k56h, the 57h uses a pci card and the 56h uses an ISA card the drivers don't work on my model.

Thanks again for your reply. The drivers here are only for 65545, 65548, 65546 VL/ISA BUS. My chipset is 65540 no need to identify it with utility is written clearly on the card. I have tried these drivers in the past just on the off chance they may work, but no such luck.

    Thanks Anyway
