Via Apollo Pro chipset & ATI

I have Abit VA6 motherboard , with VIA chipset (AGP 2x ), processor is PIII 600 , 256MB PC133 RAM.
Problem is with very low almost a slide show frame rate at the games(Unreal Tournament).
I hear , that the hard drive is working all the time when playing game.

I have tested these configuration first with ATI Rage Pro grphic card, then I tried with Geforce 2 GTS , graphic card.With no effect.

The same problem is in Win98 se, Win 2k Pro.
I have the latest drivers from VIA-s, ATI , Nivida. And there is no effect.It is the same with Software or DirectX rendering.

But strange , with Voodoo 3 card there is no problem.

A tested all hardware , and it is working fine. There is well enough of RAM , so I don`t think the problem is there.I think there is a problem with AGP drivers , because Voodoo3 does not use any special functions of AGP.

Read my posts elsewhere on this site regarding problems with the VIA chipset and display cards. It seems that a lot of people are having very similar problems.
