I think the point we're trying to make is that it doesn't help to be sarcastic when trying to help someone. However I'm not exactly a newbie to this forum and I suppose I have to accept a certain amount of ribbing, cajoling, etc/ If that is the price I have to pay to get help....And Trip, I don't think that last remark about him coming over to my house and beating me up, was exactly called for, do you?
That said, let me continue to the problem at hand.
I uninstalled the modem, no dice. I have haven't tried PC Physicians' solution but I will Yet. But I will.
However I did discover that I DO have a file called Vpsysmgr. Its located in C:\Windows\System32. What should I do with it?
Also noticed, I just loaded a video camera. Its not showing up in my device manager and its not showing up in safe mode, but I did install it because it works.
