I think I already saw this movie, except it was called Gladiator.

Other than the pitch black sequal, Hell Boy is the only other movie I am waiting for this year (so far)

Hmmm, Clive Owen... The movie looks cool. I'll be interested to see Owen act. I've been looking for a guy who I think could be The Gunslinger from Stephen King's Dark Tower series. So far the only guy who's come to mind is Hugh Jackman from X-Men.

Clive Owen the guy who does the BMW mini movies? Seen the one with James Brown ?

Is Steven King ever going to finish that story? He's been working on it for over a decade. As far as a lead character goes hmmm.

I don't know of any project yet to make The Dark Tower but it's got to happen. And it could be soooo good... I think 7 is the last and due out this year.

When I started reading the books many moons ago, I always thought the role would be so well filled by a younger Clint Eastwood.

You know, the gunslinger / errant knight hybrid, the arid environment producing a more weathered, svelt body type.

I don't know who would be better suited for this in today's younger actors.

Yep. King says in the forward of ... Wizard and Glass I think, that The Dark Tower was kind of a combination of spaghetti western and Lord of the Rings. Eastwood's too old to play it... I think the guy who played Wolverine in X-Men might be good, or maybe Viggo Mortensen from Lord of the Rings. Someone somewhat unknown would be best. ...see the charachter and not the actor..
