    WIN2K vs XP

I would like a few thoughts on a matter, (not a debate), for a office that is getting ready to purchase (14) new PC's. The office will be on peer-to-peer network with a few apps such as Goldmine running from a storage PC. They want all the systems to have the same operating system from the work stations to the storage system (server). They will use either Win2K or XP. I would like a few thoughts as to what would be best to use. Thanks.

Well alright, here we go again: Windows XP Pro tuned for business (i.e. de-homed) for it's better stability and hardware support.

Even if your client wanted W2K, is it still possible to get it on new computers? I suppose if you bought white boxes you might be able to find someone that still has a pile of OEM copies, but I doubt if you can get them from Microsoft.
