    Post Picture shifted to right

I have a strange problem. When I play some games, such as Diablo II - Lord of Destruction, the screen shifts to the right so that two inches can't be seen when I try to use 800x600 mode.

    My system specs (concerning video):
    ASUS K7M motherboard w/ 128MB RAM
Rage Fury MAXX 64MB AGP video card
    Decaview G387 Monitor
    DirectX 8.0
    Latest VIA 4in1
    Screen: 1024x768 85Hz

    Any ideas ??

    TIA

Seeing as it is an ATI card, there should be a pile of extra controls in the Control Panel> Display applet (some might be under the advanced button in the settings tab)

You should be able to configure all the different video modes there, including refresh rate and screen size and position. Make sure that you do this for each resolution/colour depth combination.

Run the game at the same resolution as your desktop and run at the same bitrate, 16bit or 32 bit.

    MacGyver,
Thanks for the advice. I knew it had to be something simple. 640x480 was set at 60Hz refresh and 800x600 was set to 'optimal'. Once I set both to 100Hz refresh, it now works correctly.

    Thanks again.
