Hmmm...he got booted off of 6 Clear Channel station and suddenly that's censorship? I didn't hear a peep from y'all when CC kicked Bubba the Love Sponge off the air! Have y'all got something against Sponges???
Listen to be honest I didn't even know the guy was still around. I have never been a fan and believe me I've listened to him for far more hours than I care to admit (long car pool ride in AZ with only one channel to listen to). HellsBells if his show is still popular in the markets that were dropped I guarantee he will be picked up by another syndicator.
As an aside back in my younger years I listened to a guy by the name of the Tennessee Midnight Rambler. The guy was a freakin' hoot and always in trouble with the FCC. Suddenly a couple of years after I graduated from college he disappeared, but now I understand he's back. Take a listen to his audio files. It was pretty risky stuff 20+ years ago!

Well, it's not quite that easy. He is on public airways, during the day, and you can't define his audience as you can with pay channels on cable networks. What that means is that kids of all ages are able to listen to this show. If he proves to be offensive...and of course he does everyday...then I have to agree that shutting him down would be appropriate…Do I agree with the increased fines proposed by the FCC…well, if $27000 a pop didn’t open anyone’s eyes to their own ill doing, then $270,000 sure has, and it might just make a difference, things are out of hand.

As far as things going out of hand, I watched Survivor last night, the fag was faced off in a challenge and lost, so before being faced off again, he takes off his pants and starts swinging his thing around to fend people off, rubbed himself right up against a female contestant…where was the censorship…where were the criminal assault changes!!! Oh, that’s right, they warned us of “explicit content” right before the scene.

Watched The OC the other night, they got a MILF (Mother I’d Like to F___) making booty calls with her daughters 18 year old ex-boyfriend. Ok, where is the responsibility in that!!!!!!???? I actually like that show, but am appalled by the content! My kids will never watch a show like that when they are teens, but I am sure all of their friends will!

You all think it's cool that you got someone banned...you relish it. I have little respect for that. If all of you could just let things go, I am sure that all members could coexist. We each judge a situation on its merits as observed by our own view point and our own set of personnel constructs no two people are ever in the same camps at the same instant in time that is what makes us unique and able to freely air our views.

This said we live in a civilised society and in this society we must have compasion and understanding for our neibours set of values weather we agree or not so to say it breeches the freedom of speech in this case is an absurd and hypocritical statement to make in any sense of true values.

He has clearly and intentionally "gone outside the box" with many of his broadcasts so has ultimatly brought it upon himself to be up for dismissal from any contracts that may be between his company and those of the broadcasters.
