Embed excel.sheet.8 error

I have an end user who when he receives a word document with and embedded excel sheet he gets this error message. "Embed excel.sheet.8" He is running win2000 sp1, office 2000 sp1a. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Kennel... in the dog house eh?

What else does that error message say? so far, I know the embedded sheet is an excel 97 sheet, it maybe to do with security and that macros are not allowed to run.

No embedded sheet is excel 2000sheet. And he gets no other error messages. In place of the spread sheet is "Embed excel.sheet.8". He can run the documents from last year with the same options, but for some reason all the files he receives now are that way. As far as I know nothing has changed, but I do know how end users are.LOL
