ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe AND DDR
I have a new ASUS P4C800-E DELUXE motherboard and 4 sticks of Samsung 256 mb PC 3200 MEMORY, I am waiting for the new Prescott 3 ghz chip to become available, my question is will a 2.4 P4 with 400 mhz fsb run on a tempory basis with this memory?.
The manuel seems to suggest PC 2100 memory, I have used Durons etc with PC 3200 with no problems in the past but not tried it with Intel cpu's, also any info on 3 ghz Prescott availability in the UK would be appreciated, there are plenty of 2.8 about but no 3 gig.

Try these CCLComputers - I go trade, but they do net too pretty cheap, they had stock yesterday of 2.8, 3 & 3.2, I bought a 2.8, it was gonna be a 3 until we ran out of budget ...

I dont know how much different the bios is on that board to the one I have. The P4P model, but I cant see why you cant turn down the FSB.
