Keycorp k57h
Im trying to get an AGP : Ati Radeon 9200 to work with a secondary monitor (Keycorp k57h with a strange digital connector, not VGA)
on a CHips and technogies 65550 2mb card
the secondary monitor works on its own, but once a AGP card is inserted only the AGP monitor works but not both.
i have tried initialize setting in the Bios to PCI but if i do that neither monitors work at all... if i set it on AGP just the AGP monitor works...
dont know what else to do
could it be my motherboard not accepting both AGP and PCI?
any other ideas?
thanks v much
Phi

Thanks, but I have looked at that page lots of times, but it doesnt really solve my problem, as those posts don't solve that person's problems anyway...

What OS are you running and does it support multiple monitors? Does both video cards show up in the device manager?

similar problem -- seeking help
getting desparate....
I have a similar problem to Phi. Gateway 6100 series with ATI Radeon 9600. Two monitors attached, but secondary monitor is black. Gateway has replaced the DVI-VGA cable/adapter and the video card. I've spent hours on the phone with technicians. Everyone is very helpful, but no one solves the problem. They even sent out a technician, but he had no clue. Software-wise, like Phi, the computer thinks the setup is working perfectly. We've reloaded drivers... everything. Seems like it must be something simple but obscure.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks!!
