backup of adressbook and contacts from outllok 2003
hi,
how do i completely backup "Address Book" and "Contacts" in outlook 2003?

Don't have a copy in front of me, but this should be close: File/Export, as file type select pst (outlook data file), under what to export select your address book(s), give it a file name and save it.

i mean is there any other way besides export/import, something like copying this exact file and your done? e.g. outlook.pst for mails.

The pst file contains the contacts as well. If you don't want the mail to go with it, you need to export the contacts to a different file. You could then open that file in outlook and use it as your primary contact list, backing it up as required.
