America Bashing

Its all the rage isn't it? Isn't it just cool to be against the big nasty bully?

Lets ponder this "bully" title for a moment. If you took the military force that we can foot today and put it into the hands of a true bully (S. Hussein for example) there would be no Saudi Arabia, no Kuwait, no Israel, no Egypt. It would all be IRAQ and that would be just for starters. Is there any doubt he would steamroll and conquer all his neighbors?

If we truly are bullies, then lets get bullying. I want gas for $.05 a gallon. So, lets OWN Kuwait and offer Saudi the chance to just export to us for free. After that, we'll contemplate not glassing Jordan and Syria for new parking lots for our tanker trucks.

I want a new vacation island. Lets roll over this little island 60 miles off of Florida called Cuba and start remodelling. I always did want a free cigar.

I want to ski in France. Lets plow our way through Paris and annex the place. Oh wait, we did that already and decided to give it back. (oops)

Now, lets talk about the honorific of "Meddlers". We are considered nosy and pushy and bossy and well, just flat out controlling. Really? Well, lets see.

I think American kids should be able to go to college for free. Well, lets start by removing ALL of our financial aid from the insanely ungrateful countries we send it to. I'm thinking the billions we would save would certainly cover the expenses.

Lets get isolationist. Lets close our borders to Imports and manufacture our own products for our own consumption. It may hurt us in the short haul while we remodel our economy & reconfigure our manufacturing, but we'll have the distinct enjoyment of watching the economies of China, Japan and Taiwan crumple into ruin. Outsource this.

The moral of the story? If you hate living here, MOVE. Get the **** out. I'll buy your one way ticket for you. If we see you at our borders again, you'll be shot. If you think we're "bullies", thank whatever God you pray to that we haven't just OWNED your sad little country like we truly could. If you think we're "meddlers", send back all the foreign aid you're enjoying and do it on your own.

In closing, maybe I should apologize about this post, but ya know what, SKIP that. I have pride in my country, in the restraint that we DO show, in the good that we DO spread. I actually believe in our leaders, Republican or Democrat alike. I am proud to live here, to pledge my allegiance to one hell of a country and live "under God", at any cost.

As far as what I said...I am up on current events, I am just usually as much as a week behind unless I find out about it here. I have young children at home, so until they get to bed I am their caregiver and slave. I don't have time to take a piss, let alone watch the news. Plus, with all the dead bodies being shown, and one kid at 4, my wife doesn't want us watching the news until late anyway. By then I've passed out.

No chance of any of it happening...multinational corporations are truly multinational these days...they hire their own armies and live in the country that gives them the best deals...they'll laugh at your nationalism and then take money from your wallet. All praise the Euro!!!
