Wndows 2000 Server installation
What does it mean when you reach the point "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration," then nothing happens beyond this point?
Windows 2000 Server
2 hard drives: 1 master, 1 slave, & jumpers are in proper positions
Used fdisk to remove all partitions
Used fdisk /mbr to eliminate master boot record
CMOS sees both drives even after I opted to use auto-detect drives
Nothing has been done to BIOS

Nevermind, I fixed it. The memory module was seated in a bad slot.
