need a new v/c
currently i have an onboard SiS530 and a Rendition verite2100
the verite is a 4mb sgram v/c but the direct3d and opengl acceleration is WAY better than the sis530 (8mb)
what's wrong???
unreal with the sis530 sucks
i also need a new card what do u ppl recommend?
n.b i need a pci v/c good price too

The rendition card is made for 3D gaming. If I remember correctly this V2100 card is a Diamond S220 or at least thats the card I had. I liked that card. The SIS onboard is for 2D only, it's not made for 3D games.
As for newer cards, the best card to get for money is GforceII MX. The Voodoo cards are good, but Gforce is the way to go. Another option is the ATI Radeon, which is soon coming in a cheaper version. However, I'm not sure if Radeons come in PCI.

I agree GeForce2 is the way to go. Voodoo cards are good, but i wouldn't count on much support since they were bought by Invidia who makes the GeForce.
