I am puzzled by some of the entries in your hosts file.
A few belong there, but cexx.org provides services about malware.

Personally, I would get rid of PalTalk (contains a form of spyware), QuickTime Task (pointless until you need it, and then it launches automatically anyhow) and the ever-so-useless OSA9 (MS Office pre-loader that non one I've serviced since 1997 has ever used).

You know these HijackThis logs are no damn good without 'you' telling us what you might want running ! & cleaning them up a bit first via either adaware or spybot helps a hell of a lot too ..

That's a general comment aimed 'not particularly' at houllier*

    I personally haven't got a clue what..
    hpztsb0 5.exe
    ltpr.exe
wnscpcc.exe (I'm fairly sure that is a 'nasty' ..but ..)
NPDocBox.dll (is also I think maybe bad)
    ..might be !

I too am deeply bemused by the apparent 'hosts file' contents ...

There's also a few entries running which look like they are hitting video sites somewheres that 'generally' I'd be very leery about (anything that says go get this & install it on each boot I don't like at all ..)

There's more ! ... but I suspect you might actually want some of them or not maybe realise just what these 'installed' apps might also be up to ..

& a final 'dig' ... Google is my friend ... make it yours
Oh where the hell is that 'big sigh' icon ? ..

i have already ran spybot and adaware and this stuff still comes up.

i just want the stuff that belongs on my computer. anything that i have downloaded and added on to my computer accidentally or on purpose doesnt need to be there. i just dont know what that stuff is.
