I'm saying in recent history the republicans have been the ones with the balls to do something when it comes to this kind of thing... When the thing in Somalia happened and our guys were all set to go in and kick the warlords a$$, Clinton turned around and said no lets pull out.... Which is saying to all the petty dictators and terrorists out there... kill a few Americans and they will go home crying!!

20 odd years of brainwahing by somebody who blamed the 'West' for every conceivable ill visted upon the Iraqi people might do it .. (By Saddam mostly, but bombing them every now & again, pulling out first time when they thought they might get liberated, putting embargos on them that denied medical drugs, food etc won't help either, Saddam had the 'West' to blame each & every time , get told something for long enough & it starts to get believed, true or not !) .. depite having 'beaten them' in battle we have yet to win their hearts .. we are just merely the infidel to them ..

Yep! Again look at somali.... The initial food relief conducted by the American Marines went well and all were happy but after we left and UN took over and things started going bad it was the US that took the blame... and the hostility!
