Small Word 2002 problem
After writing a date for example (12th) the (th) used to become small, and go to the top of the figure. Now it looks as it does in this text. Is there an option somewhere to change it back. I thought it was something to do with Superscript, but that doesn't seem to do it.

Welcome to Windrivers Capricorn!
Depends on the font and auto formatting/styles options you have.
Open word, click format, autoformat, options button - check ordinals (1st) with superscript is ticked.
Check the same is in the autoformat as you type tab.
Click ok, review changes and accept.

Thanks Noo Noo, I thought that would work OK, but all the options were already ticked. I have also run Detect and Repair, but that made no difference at all.

Find and delete normal.dot using explorer - it will be recreated the next time you start word. If you use another template on a regular basis, then recreate it.... do NOT copy it.
