You know that I am on your side in most of this argument, but I find it highly unlikely that a Corporal in the USMC is the resident spokesman for the Marine Corps with respect to this find. Sounds to me like an early release breaking story where this guy was the first interviewed at the camp. I like to think that a comprehensive investigation went one, and a field grade officer (Major through Colonel) was interviewed as a follow up to the story. It's almost a year old, are there any follow-ups?
