Unhappy my computer uses up all network resources...Possible Virus

I have a problem with my computer. Every once in a while my computer's internet connection will start to go crazy. It uses up all the resources of our network at home. Plus, my processor seems to be calculating something extremely hard. For example, I took a look at my cpu usage and it was through the roof. Also, the cpu temp goes from 39c to 50c. No one else can get on the internet at this time either. Its just my computer that's using everything up. I try to reset, and then I get a no_more_IR_Stack_locations error. The computer resets, and then goes back to working fine. I hope some one can help, I really don't have a clue what it is. Also, I have ran many virus scans, internet sweeper clean up programs, and search and destroy programs. I've done the works, and that's why I don't really know what's going on. Once, again I hope some one can help thanks.

Try downloading NAI's Stinger (http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.asp) and running it. It looks for a lot of the newer common worms/trojans. It sound to me like maybe the Blaster or something similar.

    Hiya 3FS!!

    Welcome to Windrivers frysauce.

It sounds like you are not the owner of your computer when it is doing that!

right click on the task bar, click task manager. Now look at the processes tab. In there the cpu usage will be listed for each running process.

Leave it up and when your computer goes nuts again, write down what processes are taking the most cpu (top 5 say). The post those processes here.
