    Post Damsel in distress!!!

Could anyone tell me where to find a driver for a S3 Virge/mx(260)?

I've tried the archive and the S3 site (i've tried the various addresses but can't connect to any of them).

    Any suggestions? (please).

The driver you are searching for could be found here: http://www.compaq.com/support/files/...ate/4_936.html

However, this is for my Armada 7800 Laptop. Hope they work.

if prompted for username/password, use archive for both...

http://www.s3graphics.com/ will get you to an official S3 Graphics web site. Select Drivers from the top menu.

Next, click on the word HERE in the FOURTH option and enter User Name: archive and Password: archive. From there you will be able to d/l the file you need. (2nd from the top)
