Anybody use Etrust Antivirus V7.0??
Etrust Antivirus Version 7.0
Installed it on a few systems, but don't want to start selling it without researching it first. We have it installed here at the shop on 2 systems, but I can't find much information about it. I'm trying to find out if it scans incoming and outgoing pop3 e-mails. One of my coworkers installed it on about 20 systems on a network, and I don't need a call one day (probably on a Monday) that they have 20 infected systems. If anyone out there has any experience with this I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thank you and have a great day.

I'm currently using e-trust 7 server edition on my 2003 system. I've come to like it. Now i don't know if the workstation version works the same, but here are some things i've noticed.
1. when remote computers put a virus on the share, e-trust will lock out the account after 3 tries. It also uses windows messenger to inform the infecting computer that it tried to deposite a virus.
2. it does not scan mail as it comes in, howerver, it does a nice and dandy job nailing it when you try to open the attachement (etrust will kill the temp file before you get the save dialog, giving an error message)
3. i never see it update, but it's always up-to date.

Thanks Matridom,
I'll let my boss know. We spoke to their tech support yesterday, but this information that you're giving me lets me think that it's a good idea to use. Enjoy your holiday...
