Folders for Outlook Express All Mixed Up
I recently installed a new hard drive to my computer and had the old one slaved to the new one. Then I had windows XP installed on my current C drive. Thus far no problems until this afternoon. Today, when I was loading up my email, all of the folders are in a different order. Also, when I loaded my email, XP crashed. The message I was loading had a media file attached if that means anything. I do have a current version of norton on it. Anyone any ideas.

Any idea about what to do. I do know that the person I received the email from had a virus about a week ago. I don't like the order they are in that's all. SusieQ

So what order are they now in, alphabetical? What order were they in before?
Has the order changed since you imported from your old drive, or has it just changed?
Delete the attachment from your friend's email. Then empty the deleted items folder.

They aren't in alpahbetical order, but I wondered if there was any way I could have them back in the order they were. They were in the right order when I imported my email messages the other day.

I see nothing that allows you to change or specify the order. I suggest you export your mails, set up a new identity, import the mails to the new identity. If that works, then delete the old identity.
