Howcan I up my CPU Voltage on P4S533-MX

I want to over clock my p4 3.06 ghz I can get so far but then random crashes I think I need to raise CPU voltage but dont have a bios option or a jumper to do so, any ideas? oh and its not my ram cus I overclocked the same CPU with the same ram on brothers board and once we upped voltage it was flying. thanks for any info. I think it may be a limitation of my bios.

If the option is not in the bios, then your going to have to modify the board with the proper hardware to let you do it manualy(potentiometers and such), needless to say this will void all warranty and would only be recommended for an expert solderer who knows what he/she is doing as you stand a good chance of frying your motherboard otherwise.

and at the moment, i can't seem to find any tutorials for your specific board, you would also have to understand the sub structure of the board and how restance affects voltage to modify it.

I would not recommend doing it that way.

Since you already have the new CPU as a 3.06Gig. then you should look into memory, board etc... What do you plan on doing with the machine?
