[RESOLVED] Cannot access Folder Options on my system?

I have not been able to access the Folder options on my system for sometime now and cannot figure out how to bring it back.

There is not even the option under Tools in Explorer. When I got to Microsoft help and I click on the link hat they have in their help section I get a message saying that I do not have access to this option, contact system admin. But that is impossible since this is a ome computer and I have no access rights set up.

If anyone knows how I can get this option back please let me know. I have also looked in the registery and cannot find it there.

It's not much, but this is all that I found on the KB. Take a look in there, there is a link in there about removing active desktop.

I can't say that I have ever seen that before, hopefully someone has an answer for you.

Have you looked in the control pannel?? I think thats what your looking for, If Im reading your post right. But thats a big if. lol

The Folder Option is not available in the Control Panel either. I will take a look at the link you sent me and see if it helps.

Fire up regedit and edit this key.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

Change the key NoFolderOptions to 0.
That'll fix you right up.
