    intellimouse won't scroll

    I'm running XP Professional with a MS Intellimouse and the Intellipoint 5 software has been installed. However, I can't get the scrollwheel to work no matter what settings I change, remove, add, or even if I install the software again.

    Any ideas?

    Yeah i would like to know too, i have no movement on mine either, and its XP with v5 installed too. Hope its something stupid!!

    O.k., so you want an answer. Well, this isn't very pc friendly but what I did was disconnect & reconnect the mouse with the computer on & it's been working fine ever since. I don't advise anyone to do this but I took a chance and it worked. Sorry for the delay.
