Windows 2000
Greetings, I am trying to install Office 2000, Windows XP-Home, about half way through the install, it stalls, then eventually, a message appears, installer quite-retry, of course when I retry, nothig happens.
I tried a few times, same error, I even have performed a system restore, same issue.
Is this a Windows issue or a Office issue with the installer and how might I able to resolve.

I have had "stalls" of Office installs before, and almost everytime found it to be something with the installation CD. Smudges, scratches etc. A few times, there were no visible defects/problems, but using a different CD worked fine.
I would attempt the install on another PC as a test bed if possible. If it fails on it as well, especially in the same fashion, you've got a bad disk.
