    sata drivers

Hi there i have a really simple problem with my windows 2003, im trying to run it as a server and have managed to do that fine but im having problem getting the 2 sata drives to apear on the "my computer" screen.

I have installed the drivers and they apear in the device manager as: Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATAraid Controller. under the SCSI and RAID controllers.

they load up when the system boots up so i know they are connected and i have had them running on a different os fine.

I think it may be a driver problem, can anyone offer me some advise?

    My pc spec is:

    Realtek K7 NCR18D
Onboard sound video and lan sata(all working)
    1x 80gb uata seagate
    2x 120gb sata seagate

    Thanks

    Adam

    Welcome to Windrivers Adam!

Have you also installed the motherboard drivers?

I have the exact same problem but with w PCI sata card... if I boot win XP pro, it works fine... however when I boot Win server 2003 they aren't recognized in 'My Computer'

And yes, all the drivers are installed correctly
