    This is a new one to me!

    When trying to log on a windows 2003 member server onto a 2003 domain I get:

    The System cannot log you on due to the following error:

    The Name or Security ID (SID) of the domain specified is inconsitent with the trust information for that domain.
    Please try again or consult your system administrator.


    - I'm not finding much on the internet detailing this issue. It won't let me authenticate to the domain, but I can logon locally.

    Have you tried re-joining the domain (Change to workshop,reboot and then join back)?

    Edit: I re-read that it was a server, this may not work the same.
