Fellow vet blasts Kerry's antiwar comments
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/...ary/index.html
"I saw some war heroes ... John Kerry is not a war hero," said John O'Neill, a Houston lawyer who joined the Navy's Coastal Division 11 two months after the future senator left Vietnam. "He couldn't tie the shoes of some of the people in Coastal Division 11."

hahahahahahahahhahahahhaha
I guess guys like John O'Neill who took over Kerrys boat after he left are bitter that he they couldn't fill his shoes.
They weren't brave enough to earn a silver star or bronze star.
I guess they also were the butt of jokes that they will never be another John Kerry.
And thank you JaxSon for once again bringing up Kerrys war record.
A genuine American hero versus a genuine American Chickenhawk (Bush).
We all know they kicked Bush out of the national guard because he was DRUNK. Thanks for reminding us.

Funny how a lot of soldiers working with Kerry during his time in-theater didn't think much of him, then or now..

Funny how the guys he served with continue to appear to keep telling his stories of heroism.
The ones that criticize him never actually served with him or hold politcal Republican jobs.
Just despicable how a hero is treated when a Chickenhawk like Bush can use daddies influence to be honorably discharged instead of court-martialed as a DRUNK.

I stand by my remarks. Bush would have stood up for his country, too, but he was too busy falling down drunk while John Kerry was being a hero.

That guy didn't serve with him.
Name just one person that served with him that has anything negative to say about him. Just one.
To clarify, by served with him I mean someone who served with him, not someone who was in the military at the same approximate time.
I've only heard of two guys speaking out that actually served with him and both were fully supportive and had nothing bad to say about him. Personally I don't give a ****, I'm not voting for John Kerry I'm voting against George Bush and I think most people feel about the same way. All this Kerry bashing is irrelevant even if any of it were actually true.

Kerry recounts his birth in a Colorado Army Hospital while his father was serving in the Army Air Corps. He acknowledges that in his youth he had "a lot of privileges," that he attended Yale University, and that, as a result, he felt compelled to serve his country. His former Swift boat pilot, Del Sandusky, praises his leadership, and former Green Beret Jim Rassmann credits Kerry with saving his life.
Two very different children of priviledge. One. Kerry, felt compelled to serve his country for all it had given him. Another, Bush, felt that he was above the little people and used his familys influence to not have to fight.
