I do not post in the tech forums for a couple of reasons. I come here to relax and to clear my mind while at work. This site helps make work fun, and I can stop reading in the middle of a post when I need to. I normally do not have the time at work to read the tech forums, since that is basically what I am doing for my work. I do not read this site when not at work, since I am busy outside of the house. Also, there are many more tech here that are better qualified than I am, and do a better job of answering the questions. I do not want to lead someone astray. That is why I stay in the lounge.

It's always surprised me why people would want to argue politics on a computer forum, lounge or otherwise. Maybe they couldn't cut it on a political forum? Don't know

Is anything really worth arguing about over a forum? I can't think of anything...

I agree. I caught myself getting all worked up in these political debates and thought, "Eh? What the heck and I doing? This is a PC forum." So then I just decided not to be involved in those anymore. I'm all about computers and random humor now.

Thank you I learned about nerve at a very young age. Why I remember my pappy saying to me, "son, you've got to have nerve to survive in this world"
